How to Get UPDA MMUP Certificate in Qatar: A Complete Guide

1.) Eligibility Criteria:-

To apply for the UPDA MMUP Certificate, you must meet certain eligibility requirements. These include:

A valid Qatari residence permit( QID ) : UPDA MMUP Certification is only available to engineers residing in Qatar.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering: The degree must be attested by the relevant authorities.
Diploma (For Philippines Engineer’s)
Ensure Your University or School is Listed Under MME List.

2.) Document Requirements: –

Prepare the following documents to submit with your application:

Mandatory Documents

1.) QID

2.) Degree Certificate With MOFA Attestation

3.) Individual Marksheet ( Optional )

4.) Consolidated Marksheet / Transcript with MOFA Attestation

5.) Qatar Police Clearance Certificate

6.) Resume

7.) Photo

8.) Passport

9.) To Whom it May Concern Certificate ( Through Metrash 2 Application )

Additional ( Optional )

10.) Experience Certificate (If You Submit Experience Certificate, Accordingly You will be Get Grade)

Ensure all documents are in English or Arabic; if not, you may need to have them translated by an official translator.

3.) Understand the UPDA MMUP Certification Grade Criteria :-

Before starting the application process, it’s important to know that there are Grade Criteria of UPDA MMUP Certification, depending on your qualifications and experience:

Grade A: For engineers with more than 10 years of experience.
Grade B: For engineers with 7 -10 years of experience.
Grade C: For engineers with minimum of 5 years’ experience.

4.) Exam Pattern:-

MMUP UPDA Qatar Exam is System Based One Hour Exam.
Exam Pattern is Full of Objective Questions (25 or 27 Questions). We must get Minimum of 13 Right answers out of 25 Questions & 14 Right Answers out of 27 Questions to Pass UPDA Qatar Exam.
Each Right Answer is calculated as Four Marks. There is No Negative Mark (Major Advantage for Us to Attend All Questions in MME Exam.
All the Questions will be from Your Engineering Discipline, Project Management, NFPA Standards, QCS ( Qatar Construction Specifications ).
System Calculator can be used. If Needed.
After Completing the Exam, Just Wait Outside For a While. Results will be Declaring Immediately.
Once You Pass the UPDA MMUP Qatar Exam, You Can Download or Get Your UPDA Certificate / MMUP Certificate through mme.gov.qa
For UPDA Engineering License / UPDA MMUP Certificate, You need to Pay 300 QAR from Credit Card / Debit Card.

5.) Exam Chances:-

Every Applicant Can Avail Maximum 4 Chances for getting the License.
1st – You Can Take UPDA Qatar Exam, Once Documents Approved By Ministry
2nd – Incase, If You Fail Your First Attempt MMUP Qatar Exam, You Can Appeal Your Second Attempt within 30 Days.
Note: – (You Need to Upload Your Grievance Letter in Arabic Website to Take Second Attempt/Appeal/Re Apply UPDA Qatar Exam.
3rd – If You Fail/Miss, Appeal/Second Attempt /Grievance UPDA Exam then You Can Apply For Your 3rd Attempt UPDA Qatar Exam.
Note: – After Failing/Missing Second Attempt Exam, We Cannot Access Our Account for a While ( Account will be Blocked By Ministry temporarily ).Once getting Access to Login, You Need to Upload All Your Required Documents with Valid Qatar PCC Like First attempt Process for UPDA Exam in Qatar.
4th – If You Fail Third Attempt, You Can Appeal Your Fourth Attempt within 30 Days. (Note: – Fourth Attempt will be the Last Chance as per UPDA/MMUP/MME Exam Policy.)

6.) Register on the MME Website

To apply for the UPDA MMUP Certification, you need to register on the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) website. Follow these steps:

Create an account on the MME portal (www.mme.gov.qa).
Fill in the personal details required and upload the necessary documents.
